Support the Marketing Department to successfully promote Iridium’s products and brand name by reaching target markets in order to maintain Iridium as an industry leader.
The applicant will be responsible for taking the vision, requirements, and execution demands of a dynamic and fast paced satellite communications brand to produce and/or enhance marketing materials, presentations and documentation designed to excite, engage, and educate our customers, partners, and employees.
Key responsibilities include the support and creation of presentations, marketing collateral, sales tools, and user support material. Additional responsibilities include design elements for tradeshows and event, digital advertising, marketing communications programs, sourcing imagery and b-roll, and desktop publishing support within the marketing team. The Graphic Designer will work within the Global Marketing & Communications Team and interface with all levels of employees in the organization, including senior executives, sales team members, external vendors, and others to help foster a strong internal and external corporate brand.
Work collaboratively with Lines of Business, Product Management, and Regional Management teams to support development of sales presentations, collateral, user guides, technical sheets, comparison charts and videos.
Ability to develop and produce creative concepts; research competitors and keep abreast of market trends; and translate marketing objectives into a well-designed finished product
Develop marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop - create/edit brochures, fact sheets, templates, banners, ads, user manuals, email campaigns
Assist with the implementation of marketing communications programs, including both online and offline communications such as advertising, direct mail, electronic direct mail, and channel partner marketing.
Work within marketing communications on the writing and coordination of promotional documentation, including: partner announcements, web content, brochures, presentations, etc.
Coordinate with external marketing partners such as creative agencies, digital marketing firms, partners’ marketing departments, and production companies as required.
Work effectively with Sales and Marketing organization to develop and update content and messaging to ensure consistency across all platforms and material.
Stay current on industry trends - design, layout, and platforms.
Adhere to and enforce brand standards and usage guidelines to ensure consistency of the brand is met throughout internal and external marketing materials.
Provide Executive Administrative support to the senior level members of the Marketing team, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requirements and deliverables.

High proficiency in Graphic Design programs: Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop

Professional experience and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat

Experience working with Photoshop and transferring Photoshop content to wireframes and designs a plus
Knowledge of branding and branding principles
Excellent creative mindset mixed with a strong logic and understanding of design principles
Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and turn projects around quickly
Knowledge of marketing communications within a business-to-business communications industry

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, Business or a related field
Minimum one to three years of relevant professional experience
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing practices and principles (business to business promotional campaigns, tradeshow support, internal communications, and graphic design concepts) is preferred.
Experience working with marketing communications resources, including internal and external relationship, vendors and agencies.
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time (including international travel).
