The PM will be responsible full lifecycle management of products and services including the profit and loss for this category of products. Specific responsibilities include:
Define product and service strategy through primary and secondary research methods and competitive
Develop marketing requirement and product specifications for the product development, gateway and systems operations teams to design and develop products and solutions. Proactively work across all relative functions to ensure products and services fit into relative company functionality (software systems, billing systems, etc.), processes, and procedures.
Develop detailed and fact based business case, market demand description, product definition, features and functionality for executive presentations and roadmap decision making.
Develop and manage project plan and manage the product through the development and launch phase.
Develop and manage product readiness teams ensuring that all organizations are prepared to launch products and services on the plan of record launch date.
Development and maintenance of product plans for hardware and services including pricing/rate plans, competitive analysis, sales strategy, market share attainment.
Creation of technical, user, and marketing documentation for internal and external use for related Land Mobile products and services.
Provide on demand support to sales teams via technical presentations, sales training material, white papers, lab demonstrations, and other customer engagements.
Training of all Iridium distribution and development partners on functional operation of covered products.
Development and implementation of product management processes as required that fit within Iridium.
Develop product dashboards that drive focus on product issues to improve customer experience and increase revenue and profit within the Land Mobile product category.
Work cross functionally to enstil a strong product management culture within the organization.
Serve as primary repository for new products, services, feature enhancement requests and defects. Support key relationships with prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders as they assist with the development of requirements and product definition throughout the product lifecycle. Filter and prioritize market requirements while documenting detailed business and user requirements.
